St. Edward High School's Computer & Business Philosophy
Students use technology as an integral tool in their academic development. Students are comfortable with and competent in present technology.
Technology-enhanced lessons are utilized across disciplines where appropriate. As such, faculty often take advantage of Web 2.0 tools to utilize the internet as a platform for collaboration, creativity, innovation, and community-creating activities. Students, then, experience the functional and seamless use of instructional technology in the classroom on a daily basis. Our school technology environment is flexible enough to provide a balance of computing power and availability.
Worth Noting:
Among three labs, the library, and portable laptop systems, over 100 computers are available for student use.
Labs with high-end workstations are available for pre-engineering, programming and intensive graphics/web applications use.
A majority of our classrooms are equipped with SMARTBoard technology to enhance the learning process.
