Dobbs Commits to Ohio University

St. Edward High School senior point guard has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his basketball career at Ohio University.

As the Eagles’ floor general for the past two seasons, Dobbs led St. Edward to two straight Division I state final four appearances and a 47-6 record overall.  During the 2007-08 season he averaged 10 ppg (team’s third leading scorer), 10 apg, 5 rpg, and had a 4:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Dobbs’ clutch play during the Eagles’ state playoff run led the team to big comebacks against Valley Forge, Elyria, Warren Harding and Cincinnati St. Xavier.

Dobbs has a 3.6 accumulative grade point average.
