Andy Hrovat, a two-time state champion wrestler from the class of 1998, will be the first St. Edward High School alumnus to compete in the Olympics.
Hrovat qualified for the U.S. Freestyle Wrestling Team after beating U.S. National Champion Mo Lawal, 2-1, in a best-of-three series, to earn the berth in the 185 pound weight class.
Hrovat will visit St. Edward High School during the week of July 1 to speak to students and wrestlers.
