Br. Peter Graham Announces He Is Stepping Down As President After 2009-10 School Year

Br. Peter Graham, St.
Edward High School’s President, announced today that he will be stepping down
from the school’s leadership role after the 2009-10 school year.On July 1, 2010 he will assume the newly
created position of Vice President for Mission Effectiveness.
During his eight-year
tenure as president, Br. Peter led a $16 million capital campaign that yielded
four new buildings, the renovations of all of the school’s classrooms, and the
construction of a new athletic field and track.He also led the launch of the innovative pre-engineering and
entrepreneurship programs also offered at St. Edward High School
“It is with conflicting
emotions that announce that next year will be my last as the president of St.
Edward High School,” said Br. Peter.“It is important now that I represent to the public the mission of the
Brothers of Holy Cross and St. Edward High School, and I look forward to
continue being part of this fine educational community.”
A Presidential Search Committee has been commissioned by the St. Edward Board
of Trustees, and an announcement of Br. Peter Graham’s successor will be
announced during the 2009-10 school year.

our students, faculty and administration, Board of Trustees, the Brothers of
Holy Cross, my respected friends, advisors, the parents, and alumni,” said Br.
Peter.“The St. Edward family has
enriched my life far beyond my expectations.I thank everyone for the kindness and graciousness, which have been
given to me.My commitment to this
school and its Mission is unwavering.”
